I'm talking about the book called: by the time you read this I'll be dead.
It's about this girl named Daelyn. She was overweight and made fun of and bullied her entired life. She started a countdown. To her death. She planned her death through a website called through the light. Where she waits twenty three days to get to her DOD, Date of determination. Daelyn blogs and chooses her way to die, drowning and researches the different ways. She had tried times before to kill her self like downing ammonia and bleach (which makes her unable to speak for most of the book) and cutting.
But she then meets this boy, Santana, who she see's as a bother at first, she wishes he would leave her alone. But her mother then makes her bond with him and she ends up finding out Santana has Hodskins disease and could possibly die.
Meanwhile you have Daeyln answering questions. Such as. How will you get through the light? Who will become you? and she blogs about her troubles of being overweight.
Her family tries to reach out but she pushes them away
Near the end Daeyln friends a girl named Emily also obese and trys to help her by telling her not to go to Fat Camp after her own horrible experiences.
On day 1 til Daeyln's DOD Santana talks to her. Because she couldn't talk when they first met he would usually do all the talking and Daelyn would listen. Then she talks to him and she then realizes he really and truly likes her not in a teasing and mean way. And she then the DOD arrives and she deletes her through the light account.
I loved this book. Please only 14 and up!!!! I don't reccomend this book to anyone 13 or younger for frequent swearing and talk of ---
